Hi Mark,
We rijden dit jaar in een overgangsjaar. We zijn bezig met de regels en
deze zien er onder voorbehoud zo uit voor de rest van het jaar.
Het algemene motorregelement blijft altijd van toepassing:
Junior Bike ET #1, #2, #3 en #4
Wanneer een rijder de maximale leeftijd bereikt voor haar/zijn klasse mag
zij/hij in deze klasse blijven rijden tot aan het eind van het seizoen of
overstappen naar een hogere klasse.
Overmaatse zuigers zijn toegestaan zolang de maximale inhoud met niet meer
dan 3cc overschreden wordt.
Elektrisch of pneumatisch schakelen is niet toegestaan.
Ontstekingonderbreker is niet toegestaan. Turbo en blower zijn niet
toegestaan. Nitrous Oxide, power en octaanboosters zijn verboden.
Alleen loodvrije pompbenzine is toegestaan.
#1 8 till 17 year < 50cc
#2 11 till 17 year < 125cc
#3 13 till 17 year < 250cc
#4 15 till 17 year < 500cc
Reserved for all “street legal” or “non-street legal” (stock or make) 2-or
4-stroke single cylinder motorcycles with any frame configurations. Rider
and motorcycle size must conform to each other. All races are limited to
1/8th mile.
Bracket Qualifying and Elimination .
Requirements and Specifications:
ENGINE: Any name brand, make or model. Must be single or twin cylinder
engine. Small engine modifications are legal such as: exhaust, air cleaners
and carburetor. Engine must retain stock design.
FUEL: Only general available road fuels allowed. Nitrous oxide is not
allowed. Power or octane boosters are not allowed
DRIVE TRAIN: Must have chain or belt guard for primary and secondary
drives.
May be any variety or manufactured transmission with any number or speeds.
Must be approved by Tech Inspector.
May have any variety of manufactured clutch. May have automatic or manual
clutch. Belt drives are legal. Rear wheel drives may consist of any ratios
and materials. Air shifters are allowed.
SUSPENSION AND BRAKES: Front and rear brakes mandatory (disc or drum).
Front suspension minimum size 28 mm and minimum travel of 2 inches. Rear
suspension not necessary. Struts allowed.
Handlebar controls must be located in safe, workable position. Footpegs and
foot controls should be located in safe, workable position and must be
mounted in a safe, craftsman-like manner. All controls must meet or exceed
OEM equipment standards.
FRAME:
Must be purpose built and of tubular construction utilizing a rigid rear
end. Any oem style and material frame is allowed. If Purpose build the
frame must been made off chrome molly tubing. Frame must meet Tech
Inspector’s approval. Wheel base is unlimited.
The ground clearance minimum size of 50 mm with rider on bike and 10 p.s.i.
in rear tire (includes exhaust and kickstand).
Rider must be able to reach all controls safety and able to place both feet
flat on the ground.
Wheelie bars are highly recommended.
WHEELS AND TIRES:
Tires: any make or size. Slicks are permitted.
Wheels: any make or size are permitted.
BODY:
Must have rear mudguard or body work extending past the rear axle. Stock
OEM fenders and gas tank, or custom fenders and gas tanks are allowed, but
must be mounted and constructed in a safe, craftsman-like manner.
The seat must be securely attached so as to prevent the rider from sliding
backwards.
ELECTRICAL:
Any ignition system is allowed.
Starting systems are electric, kick or with external starter. No push or
roller starts.
Control switches must be mounted and constructed in a safe, craftsman-like
manner. There must be an emergency kill switch.
Only data gathering computers are allowed.
Lights are not necessary.
RIDER:
Helmets are full face only. Refer to Helmet section of hand book.
Protective clothing are leather jacket, full-finger leather gloves and
hi-top leather shoes or boots.
TECH:
Tech Inspector or Tech Official will have final say on any unclear rule or
equipment.
De “Pro Scooter” klasse komt hiermee te verdwijnen.
Er wordt nu heads up gereden, maar hier moet nog over beslist worden voor
volgend jaar.
